Some products here have a finished spec but no scheduled batch. We would rather say that than pretend otherwise. The waitlist is how you tell us which ones to run next.
We spec it before we make it
Every catalog page, including the ones marked waitlist-only, is a real, specified product: sequence, expression system, release criteria, all decided. What's missing is a scheduled production run.
You tell us the volume
Joining the waitlist tells us the pack size, quantity, and timeline that would make a batch worth running. One request is a data point; a cluster of them is a production order.
We batch what clears the bar
When demand for a product or family crosses the threshold to run economically, we schedule it, express and purify it, QC-release it against spec, and ship it with a CoA like everything else in the catalog.
