I Overview
Bioactivity is defined by an ED50 of 0.04–0.2 ng/mL in the murine HT-2 T-cell growth-inhibition assay. Sterile-filtered solution in 4 mM HCl, 0.2 µm filtered. Supplied frozen; carrier-free by default (a 0.1% BSA carrier option is also available). The acidic formulation is deliberate: mature TGF-β1 aggregates and adsorbs to plastic near neutral pH, so it is held below pH 4 until dilution.
