I Overview
Bioactivity is defined by an ED50 of 0.04–0.2 ng/mL in the murine HT-2 T-cell growth-inhibition assay. Lyophilized from sterile-filtered 4 mM HCl, 0.2 µm filtered; carrier-free by default; a 0.1% BSA carrier option is also available. The acidic formulation is deliberate: mature TGF-β1 aggregates and adsorbs to plastic near neutral pH, so it is held below pH 4 until dilution.
