Recombinant Human SCF (Stem Cell Factor, 165 aa)
Lyophilized, carrier-free E. coli-expressed recombinant human soluble SCF (KIT ligand), ≥97% pure. It supports hematopoietic and mast-cell progenitor expansion; the 18.5 kDa chain self-associates into the noncovalent homodimer that engages KIT.

I Overview
Bioactivity is defined by an ED50 of 1–5 ng/mL in the human TF-1 erythroleukemia cell proliferation assay. Lyophilized from sterile-filtered PBS, pH 7.4; carrier-free; a 0.1% BSA carrier option is also available. The active species is a noncovalent homodimer of two 18.5 kDa chains that forms on dilution into aqueous buffer, so no refolding or dimerization step is needed.

| Handling | |
| Reconstitution | Reconstitute with the diluent and volume specified on the vial label and lot datasheet. Mix gently; do not vortex. Dilute into assay buffer or medium as needed. |
| Storage | Store the unopened lyophilized vial at the temperature printed on the label and lot datasheet. After reconstitution, aliquot and store as directed; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
| Stability | Stability is lot- and formulation-specific. Follow the expiry and reconstituted-storage limits on the vial label and lot datasheet. |
