Custom protein expression
A protein we do not catalog, made on the same lines and released to the same spec as everything on the shelf. The only difference is that the construct is yours.

- Your sequence, an accession, or a plasmid you already have. We codon-optimize for the host.
- Expression host
- E. coli, HEK293, or CHO. Tell us the application and we will recommend one.
- Tag strategy
- His, GST, MBP, SUMO, or Fc, and whether the tag has to come off.
- Purity target
- ≥95% by SDS-PAGE is the usual ask. ≥98% costs another polish step.
- Endotoxin target
- In EU per mg or per µg. Low-endotoxin routes are quotable.
- Formulation
- Final buffer, pH, salt, stabilizers, and target concentration.
- Fill format
- Plastic vial size, fill volume, aliquot count. Shipped frozen as a liquid, not lyophilized.
- Scale
- A few hundred micrograms up to grams.

Technical FAQ
What can you not take on?
Everything here is research-use-only. No GMP, no clinical or diagnostic product, and nothing whose stated purpose is to go into a person. Some constructs are also genuinely hard. When a request lands there you get a straight no, or a feasibility run priced as a feasibility run, inside the same 24 hours.
How do you handle confidentiality and IP?
A mutual NDA is available on request. Tick the box on the form and we send one back with the acknowledgement. Your sequences, formulations, and ligands are yours. We do not use your construct for anything but your order.
If I ship you material, does it stay mine?
Yes. Ligand, plasmid, cell line, or supplement you send stays your property. Unused material is returned or destroyed at your instruction.
Does my custom item become a catalog product?
Not unless you ask for it. A custom lot is yours; it does not get listed. If you want a stable part number your group can reorder against, say so and we will set one up.
Are custom items research-use-only?
Yes. Custom material carries the same status as the catalog: for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
What about repeat or scheduled orders?
Once a lot has been made to a signed specification, reordering is a purchase order against that specification. Tell us the interval and volume if you need a cadence.
